This setup was a 3 camera scenario with one of the cameras set in vertical orientation to record for social content only. Captions and end slide with music added in post.
Interview / Storytelling Example
Shot the interviews using wireless mics, 2 set cameras and a b-roll handheld camera. The interview breaks into vignettes that highlight the topic of the conversation as it comes up naturally. Utilized a team of 3 (including myself) for setup, direction, and filming.

Utilized images from another photographer and incorporated them into the video. Additional graphics and overlays added in post, with Adobe After Effects.

Blast Test Preview
This utilized clips from the longer format video to tease the release of the final blast test video to the industry.
Blast Test Results
The majority of the blast test footage was shot near Bend, Oregon over a 10 day period. This is by far the most technical video I've ever produced. We worked with a professional voiceover artist, and had the script approved by the company engineers and communications director to ensure all data was valid. Incorporated b-roll, drone footage, photography, and stock imagery to fully tell the story visually.
Transitions Group, Inc.
Marketing & Communications- Produced video, photography, graphic design, web, email and social content supporting company marketing and communications.
Selected Work
Furnished Apartment Program
The talking head style video with b-roll and animated graphics showcases my ability to animate words, numbers, and graphics. The animations are a combination of free vector-style images brought to life in After Effects.
Corporate Housing Solutions
We outsourced on-camera talent to read our script using a teleprompter. The talking head portion is a two camera setup with lapel mic. The b-roll was used from a library of video clips I put together after having traveled to roughly 5 cities where the company has locations. These types of videos only happen because of travel and creating multipurpose b-roll clips.

Selected Work
Ashley Furniture — Hope to Dream
A community-facing project for Ashley Furniture’s Hope to Dream program, capturing the delivery day, the reactions of families receiving beds, and the volunteers and staff who made it happen. This was a multi-day, multi-location shoot combining documentary-style footage with talking head interviews, voiceover, and a timelapse sequence.
What To Expect at The District Church
A solid example of talking head plus b-roll brought together to exemplify the information being communicated. The shoot happened over a 2 hour period on a Sunday morning at the church location. A shot list was given by the church to ensure that I captured everything they wanted to portray in the video.
World Impact Ministries
A multi-interview setting that took a few weeks to capture due to having to schedule all of the individuals for filming according to their availability. Testimonial style interviews combined with photos and b-roll to show the impact of the ministry on the city and its people.
City Leader Conversation
Two cameras and a handheld b-roll cam capturing a conversation between city leaders in a local, well known coffee shop. The setting is showcased because of familiarity amongst the people of Wichita, and the conversation carries weight because of the position and notoriety of Ryan Beatty in Wichita, KS. The piece invites others to "come to the table" and hear what kind of conversations take place amongst city leaders.
